This thumb-piano solo with galactic commentary accompanies a virtual journey through a cluster of galaxies. Imagine a field of what look like stars, but on closer inspection are revealed to be many types of galaxies. Installed at the Arecibo Observatory Visitor Center.

In 1993, my son, Christopher, brought his vibraphone to my studio and we recorded a long improvisation I titled Chris on EIS (Expanded Instrument System). In 1996 I reassembled excerpts from this recording to provide music for part of an Urban Desires art feature with images by Gisela.
